Triking the Mountain

.

Courtney spent a physical therapy session yesterday triking around the mountain. She had little trouble, needing only guidance from the therapist and she sported a smile for most of the ride. I'm happy that her therapists are constantly challenging Courtney and keeping things fresh with new activities and adapted toys like bikes and snowboards (next snowboarding trip is scheduled for Feb 8).

Thanks Sean...

Great movie magic!

Training for the Trek Across Maine has started. I asked Court to do it with me on a tandem. Her reply was I rode worse than her and she would only consider it if I promised to learn to ride my bike with superior control.

Well, that's some video! It only makes me realize how much I miss being back home. I am on a flight today back to Manchester and will miss my Dad and sister tremendously as well as this weather! But I have missed Court and her entourage the most! I can't wait to get back HOME!
Thanks Sean for the video and thanks Court for your ongoing spirit and determination. You look "mauvelus"!!

I heard about Courtney awhile back and sat that night and read all the blogs. My husband is in one of the bands that will be playing in the benefit at the Waldo theatre on Feb. 16th.
I am amazed at her courage and strength and look forward to seeing more. She is an amazing person and is an inspiration to those around her I'm sure! I was wondering if anyone could tell me who her favorite singerband is. Thank you so much for letting us all know how she's doing.

COURT!
You're amazing. I had this giant grin on my face the entire time I watched the video, and at the end when you were making faces at Sean I started to cry. Of course, a student walked in then, to blasting rock music, and I burst into tears.
I hope we can all come out and see you soon, I miss you!

p.s.- Sean, I'm loving your videos!

Courtney!!! I miss you...seeing the triking video made me laugh and then cry, I know you'll probably scoff at that but I don't mind ;) I can't wait to come back up to good ol' new england, and be blown away by all the progress you've made. I must admit that it's warm down here in NC, but I'd rather be up in the snow where I can come pester you. Have fun snowboarding tomorrow, I can't wait to see more videos...Love you,
Val
