Hi Everybody,
Sorry for the quick posts over the weekend, but I promise to play catchup tomorrow. I'll write about our visit from Meagan Milmoe, her brother Mike collapsed while playing flag football at UVM about a year ago (his story is here). We're also waiting for the visit from our Spaulding representative, we pray they'll be able to help her in Boston. Thank you for the photos, I'll spread them out over the week.

Hi Sean, Julie and most of all Courtney,
Our prayers are with all of you for a great visit from Spaulding and much hope for the future from them.
Love, Sue and Ed
Dear Ann,
By all means, use Court's name in prayer.
We are grateful for your support and the support of your church.
We believe in and pray for God's will, that Court may make a complete recovery.
Sean,
Never apologize for posting too little or too much. The blog is the nicest place to find kind words, anecdotes, and even some humor (esp. the pictures!). You are the 'glue' to keeping us all connected, so .. thank you! I'm looking forward to today's update, especially the Spaulding Rehab. news. ~ Nancy
So nice to see Courtney again. She was finally awake for the first time when I visited, and gave me a big smile. Good luck with Spaulding people and keeping you all in my thoughts.
love,
gary Flo
Sean,
You are doing an awesome job with the blog and everything else. I agree with Nancy, don't apologize for not giving enough info. Sometimes just a brief note is okay!

PS I'll be interested to hear what Spaulding has to say today.
Well, the meeting with Spaulding is over and it went well. Mary Beth said she is definitely recommending Courtney for the facility so pending insurance and other minor red tape(if that's possible) she should be on her way soon.Courtney is very active today and got her first real shower. I french braided her hair and she "looks mauvelus"! She has been smiling a lot and is getting more and more responsive each day. I think it's because she is getting less and less atavan each day. I spent the night with her last night and she actually slept for three hours straight! From 3 o'clock a.m. on she was her wild self again, tossing pillows off the bed with her feet like no body's business. I am getting my exercise retrieving them.(There are at least seven to eight pillows on her bed at any given time so I am on the move.) Court can throw her legs up over her head with no problem, has attemped to clear the table of meds several times with her feet, flexes and extends her hands, feet, and arms full range by herself. Her left side is definitely weaker but is coming along. It will be great to see Court going to rehab as she will relearn to control her actions better and hopefully be walking soon. More later on the move! Thanks everyone for keeping Courtney in your thoughts and prayer! Julie
Yahoo! I'm so excited to hear that Court will be going to Spaulding soon! She's a fighter!
I didn't finish my last comment before it somehow posted. Anyway, I hope some of Court's friends will be able to do a caravan or get a cheap flight to Boston once in a while to see her. I know it will mean a lot to Courtney and to her family. Continued support will be vital to her recovery.
Thanks again to everyone for everything you've done to help us out. I love you all!
